"They don't dig in, chafe, or cling where they shouldn't. The waistband manages to hold the pants up without digging in uncomfortably (a few other manufacturers could get some tips here)... The best thing is, you don't even notice them - you can just get on with riding while forgetting that what you're wearing even has such a thing as a waistband. The liner is also really unobtrusive, and the padding is minimalist - I guess this is a matter of preference but personally I've never got on with big wodges of padding that feel like you're wearing a nappy, no matter how forgiving they might be on longer rides! I'm 5'3 and 105 pounds and I can't tell you how many mtb shorts I've tried on mostly from online retailers since I can't find any to fit me at the local stores. Everyone told me to try boys shorts but I knew there had to be a short to fit me!
